UGREEN Ethernet Switch, 10-Port PoE Switch, 8 PoE+@60W + 2 Gigabit Uplink | Plug & Play, Standard/Port Isolation(VLAN)/Extend Mode, PoE Auto Recovery, Metal Unmanaged Network Hub for Security Cameras
Product Description
UGREEN 10‑Port PoE Ethernet Switch
The UGREEN 10‑Port Ethernet Switch is a network hub that supplies both data and power through the same Ethernet cable. Designed for environments that require multiple powered devices, the unit contains eight PoE+ ports. Each PoE+ port can deliver up to 60 W, which is sufficient for a variety of networked equipment that relies on PoE. In addition to the PoE+ ports, the switch includes two Gigabit uplink ports for connecting to a router or another network device that requires high‑bandwidth connectivity.
Plug & Play Design
Installation requires no additional configuration. The switch is ready to use as soon as it is powered and connected to an existing network. The unit’s firmware supports standard network protocols and automatically detects the presence of a network. Because the device is unmanaged, there is no need for complex software or firmware updates to bring it online.
Advanced Networking Options
While the switch remains unmanaged by default, it offers optional networking controls through its hardware. The unit supports standard port isolation, enabling separation of traffic between individual ports when required. This isolation can be configured to create virtual LAN segments or to restrict communication between devices on the same switch. The switch also features an extend mode, allowing it to be used as a bridge between networks by extending the existing LAN segment to additional devices. Both modes are accessed through the switch’s built‑in controls, and they do not alter the device’s primary operation as an unmanaged hub.
Power Delivery and Recovery
The PoE+ ports provide power to connected devices via the Ethernet cable. When a power event occurs, the switch’s PoE auto recovery feature restarts the power delivery to devices automatically once the power source is restored. This recovery process ensures that powered devices return to operation without manual intervention, supporting continuous service for critical networked equipment.
Robust Construction and Compatibility
The switch’s metal chassis provides durability and heat dissipation, which helps maintain stable operation over extended periods. Its compact footprint makes it suitable for installation in tight spaces such as server rooms, security camera racks, or industrial control panels. Because the device is unmanaged, it integrates seamlessly with a wide range of network environments, from small office setups to larger infrastructure deployments that rely on PoE power for cameras, access points, or other devices.
Use with Security Cameras
Designed with security camera installations in mind, the switch supplies sufficient power to eight high‑definition cameras while offering two dedicated uplink ports to connect the camera network to the broader network. The device’s PoE auto recovery feature helps maintain camera uptime during power interruptions. Its metal construction and unmanaged nature make it a straightforward addition to existing security camera setups without the need for specialized configuration or management software.
