CAMMOO 64"x39" Roof Rack Basket with Removable Fairing & Support Bars for Kayaks - Complete Travel Kit Including 20 Cu.Ft. Waterproof Storage Bag, Cargo Net, 2 Locks, Ratchet Strap, and Cam Buckle Strap

CAMMOO 64"x39" Roof Rack Basket for Kayaks with Complete Travel Kit

The CAMMOO 64"x39" roof rack basket is engineered for transporting kayaks securely from the vehicle to the water. Its rectangular footprint provides ample surface area for a single kayak or a pair of smaller kayaks, while the removable fairing and support bars help maintain stability during transit.

Removable Fairing and Support Bars

The fairing is designed to shield the kayak and the vehicle from wind and rain while the support bars reinforce the structure of the basket. Removing the fairing allows the basket to be used with larger or oddly shaped gear that may not fit within the enclosed space.

Complete Travel Kit

CAMMOO bundles the roof rack basket with a travel kit that includes a 20 cu.ft. waterproof storage bag, a cargo net, two locks, a ratchet strap, and a cam buckle strap. Each item is intended to assist in loading, securing, and protecting the kayak during transport.

20 Cu.Ft. Waterproof Storage Bag

• Capacity: 20 cubic feet, sufficient for storing gear and accessories that accompany the kayak.
• Waterproof construction keeps interior items dry in wet conditions.
• Designed to fit within the dimensions of the roof rack basket, providing a streamlined storage solution.

Cargo Net

• Secures the kayak and any additional equipment against shifting.
• Easy to install and remove, facilitating quick loading and unloading.

Locks

• Two locks are provided to secure the kayak and the storage bag, ensuring that the load remains secure throughout the journey.

Ratchet Strap

• Used to tighten the cargo net and secure the kayak firmly within the basket.
• Features a ratchet mechanism for precise tension control.

Cam Buckle Strap

• Provides additional locking capability for the storage bag or kayak.
• Designed to work in conjunction with the ratchet strap and cargo net.

Usage and Application

When installing the basket, the removable fairing can be attached to the vehicle roof rails and the support bars are positioned to maintain the kayak in a horizontal orientation. The 20 cu.ft. waterproof storage bag fits inside the basket and is secured with the cargo net, two locks, ratchet strap, and cam buckle strap. This arrangement keeps the kayak and any accompanying gear stable during travel.

The basket’s dimensions of 64" by 39" are tailored to accommodate most standard kayaks, and the included kit provides all necessary components for a complete, secure transport setup. By combining the basket’s structural features with the additional protective and securing elements in the travel kit, users can transport kayaks confidently and efficiently.
