Product Description
CamoO 54" x 34" Roof Rack Basket for Kayaks
Designed to accommodate a kayak and associated gear, this roof rack basket measures 54 inches by 34 inches. The basket incorporates an integrated fairing that extends the width of the kit, creating a streamlined profile for the vehicle. Support bars are built into the structure to provide additional stability for the kayak when mounted on a roof rack.
Included in the kit is a 15‑cubic‑foot waterproof storage bag that fits within the basket’s dimensions. The bag is sealed to protect its contents from rain and spray, and its internal volume allows for storage of paddles, life jackets, or other equipment that accompanies a kayak excursion.
Complete Kit Components
- 15 cu. ft. waterproof storage bag
- cargo net to secure gear inside the basket
- 2 straps for attaching the basket to the vehicle roof rails
- 2 combo locks for added security
The cargo net is designed to keep items from shifting during transit. The straps are sized to fit standard roof rails, and the combo locks provide a means of locking the basket to the vehicle and the kayak, giving the owner an extra layer of security.
When assembled, the basket sits on the vehicle roof, supported by the built‑in bars. The integrated fairing frames the outer edge of the basket, reducing air resistance and improving the overall aesthetic of the vehicle’s roof. The combination of the basket, bag, net, straps, and locks creates a functional, all‑in‑one solution for transporting a kayak and its accessories.
Users can load the kayak into the basket, then secure it with the straps. The storage bag is placed inside the basket and closed with the cargo net, preventing items from moving during travel. The combo locks are used to lock the basket onto the vehicle’s roof rails and to secure the kayak in place.
The overall assembly is intended for vehicles equipped with roof rails that can support the weight of a kayak and the additional gear. The kit is a single unit that contains all necessary elements to prepare the vehicle for a kayaking trip, eliminating the need to purchase separate accessories.
In a typical use scenario, a kayaker will attach the basket to the roof rails of a suitable vehicle. The integrated fairing will cover the outer edge of the basket, giving a smooth finish. The support bars hold the kayak upright, while the straps secure the basket to the roof rails. The storage bag inside the basket holds paddles and other gear, with the cargo net preventing movement. Combo locks are applied to ensure that the basket and kayak remain locked in place during transport.
The product’s dimensions and included accessories are specified to meet the needs of kayak owners who require a reliable means of transporting their equipment on a vehicle roof. The kit’s components are clearly identified by the product’s description and packaging. The 15 cu. ft. waterproof bag is included in the kit, as is the cargo net, two straps, and two combo locks.
Because the kit includes all necessary parts, a user does not need to source additional components. The integrated fairing, support bars, straps, and locks are all part of the same package, allowing a straightforward assembly process.
For those who need to transport a kayak, the CamoO 54" x 34" roof rack basket offers a complete set of components that are compatible with vehicles that have standard roof rails. The product provides a secure and protected environment for the kayak and its gear during travel.
